Η Κρατική Ορχήστρα Θεσσαλονίκης φέτος πρωτοτυπεί στην καθιερωμένη πρωτοχρονιάτικη συναυλία της και εύχεται «Καλή Χρονιά με musical!». Η Κ.Ο.Θ. υποδέχεται το νέο έτος το Σάββατο 1 Ιανουαρίου 2011 και ώρα 19.00 στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης, προτείνοντας ένα πλούσιο, απολαυστικό πρόγραμμα με τις πιο γνωστές μελωδίες από διάσημα και αγαπημένα μιούζικαλ, όπως τα West Side Story, Porgy and Bess, My fair Lady, The sound of music, Les Miserables, Annie, The Phantom of the Opera κ.ά. Συμπράττουν η σοπράνο Carin Lavey και ο βαρύτονος David Morell. Τη συναυλία θα διευθύνει ο Christof Escher.
